Summary

It was not a great night for the Lions. They fall to the New York Giants 14-3 in Preseason Game #1. Lions offense could not get going under Nate Sudfeld, who started at QB. Hendon Hooker did better, but the offense only managed a Jake Bates 53 yard FG. Defense did alright and there were some positives.
