Hey, everybody, welcome in to the Purple Insider, Minnesota Vikings post-game show presented by

0:13.2

Fandul. The Vikings win 34 to 26 on a night where J.J. McCarthy had his best career performance.

0:24.2

So let's break it down every part of what J.J. McCarthy did tonight.

0:28.4

Some of the other things that happened throughout this game, the Vikings defense very

0:32.7

much bend don't break.

0:34.8

And actually, the Dallas kicker who has seemed invincible was not so much tonight.

0:39.7

But I'm not sure that made a huge difference with how well J.J. McCarthy and the Vikings

And what that game might have meant to J.J. McCarthy had he gotten to play against a defense

1:47.6

that was pretty poor, the confidence he might have been able to build up, the connection with

1:52.2

some of his receivers, and the corner that he could have potentially turned earlier than right now,

1:59.0

that when we think about J.J. McCarthy and we are about 600 days

2:04.5

into his Viking career, which makes all of the evaluation a little bit tougher. But when we think

2:09.6

about the stops and starts that have happened, the injury last year certainly set him back.

2:15.6

But I think that that ankle injury, which forced him to be

2:19.2

out as long as it did for five weeks in the middle of the season, I think that prevented him
