2024. It took almost six hours to get it in the books but Penn State is one to know a 34 to 12

victory down in West Virginia. We've got Daniel Gallen joining us live from

Morgantown. He's still tucked away in the stadium that I don't know if you thought you need a sleeping bag today by the end of it because you were there for so long but you've been posted up in this stadium since early morning Saturday. It's now early evening Saturday and so we've got a lot to talk about

Daniel. I'm here in our happy valley headquarters. You, Mark, Grace Brennan have been

Sometimes folks have called these therapy sessions, but I think that phrase is more

applicable to a loss or one of those really tough head scratching victories. This one was about what you'd want to hope for as a Penn State fan coming out of the

summer in terms of what we saw early in that marriage between Andy Kotal

Nicki and Dreyler, what you got from the defense early on here under Tom Allen and ultimately the way they were able to get through an adverse situation early on the field halfway from Mother Nature down in Morgantown.

Yeah, it's almost 8 PM here on Saturday night.

I think we've pulled into the parking lot here at Mylan Buscar Stadium a little bit before 9 a.m.

So we're coming up on the 11 hour mark and you can see the stands behind me.

I mean, they looked like this for a decent portion of this afternoon during that weather delay,

but, you know, it it was kind of a crazy, weird start to the season.

But Penn State came out on the other side.

And if you're a team that has national championship aspirations, college football aspirations,

you're probably going to have to win some weird ones.

And I think that for the most part, this one qualifies as a weird one.
