As the night comes to a close here, December 27th, the chilly day in a baseball stadium,

not exactly where we thought the 2025 campaign would lead for Penn State, but they

finish on a four-game win streak under interim head coach Terry Smith, a 22 to 10 victory

over the Clemson Tigers pushes them to 7 and six all the way back from three and seven

just about a month and a half ago and Daniel this is a matchup that wasn't the prettiest style of

football it didn't exactly look like two top five teams nationally like we thought they might be in

the preseason but ultimately Penn State more than handles its end of the business to get this one

to the finish line.

They win quite comfortably over Clemson.

And that's a Clemson squad that had won four consecutive games.

And the emotions on the face of Terry Smith said it again.

He was very pleased with what Penn State brought to the football field,

considering a lot of different

circumstances around this program right now. Yeah, we talked a lot about how Penn State was going to try

to get things over the finish line. I think that you look at the work that Terry Smith did,

you look at the work that this team did, you know, they did that and more, you know, to not only get

to the end of the season

with the ship still afloat, but to go on a four-game winning streak capped by, you know, a game

where pre-game they put out the availability report and there's 33 guys listed under Out,

and that didn't even include Chas Coleman. So I think you were looking at 34, 35, 36 guys, you know, from this roster who weren't
