Unfortunately, not a happy edition, although certainly a night with some positives, certainly a night with some negatives.

But we are talking about a loss here.

A 108, 104 defeat at the hands of the Boston Celtics.

At home at Madison Square Garden,

a lot to talk about, a lot to discuss,

a lot to dig into,

you know,

there's going to be good to take away from this game. There are certainly going to be some frustrations to, you know, there's going to be good to take away from this game.

But before I get into any of that, just a public service announcement, never re-over react.

I would never overreact to openers. Two years ago, as the postgame video

on the streets of New York City and 7th Avenue will attest, we thought we were on our way to

something truly special in the double overtime win over the Boston Celtics two years ago.

And that season turned into a fucking disaster.

And then last year at this time lost a heartbreaker to the Memphis Grizzlies,

one that had every bit as good of a chance of winning that game as we did this one.

And a little bit different because that was on the road, I guess.
