Welcome to the Knicksville School Postgame show.

We have our first real bummer of a game of the season. Obviously,

only the second loss. I would not categorize the opening night loss of the Boston as a bummer.

That was just a, I mean, that was more of a monstrosity to anything else. You put it behind you as soon as you got done with it. This one, this one hurt a little bit.

This one heard a little bit, mostly because I think the Knicks did not come out playing their best ball, certainly, which we will get into, but they still found a way to have

a 13-point lead in the third quarter, and then they just let it completely evaporate.

And the reason why they let it evaporate, and I saw James Edwards already tweeted about this

from the athletic, is because they went through a stretch of basketball in the late

third quarter and early fourth quarter,

where they just couldn't generate anything resembling efficient offense.
