The roller coaster ride of the NICs opening game games continues.

It's been a lot of ups and a lot of downs and it leaves them at this point with

back under 500 or the record of four and five. I mean, the easy way to talk about this game in a

sentence is just to say the Knicks lost the math battle. You had one defense that sells out to take away three pointers

and is going to concede pretty much anything if you earn it inside the arc.

And then another team that is going to sell out or at least try to sell out to take,

you know, try to sell out to take, um, uh, you know, uh, try to sell out to take away the basket.

And they're going to give up threes if you earn them. And I think against a lot of teams, that's a perfectly fine strategy, um, against this Indiana team. And I said before the season,

when I was, when I talked about Indiana on like our Patreon pod and when I talked to people about them, I was just really confident that they were going to be, I don't know if they were going to be a 50 win team, but I didn't think they were going to drop off too much. I thought they were going to be a very, very good team, if not even better than that. And the reason is because they are, other than Boston, the most comfortable team in the

league when it comes to just firing away from deep.

And there will be some games where they can't hit the far side of a barn like we saw

in Madison Square Garden.

But more often than not, they're going to shoot it

at least pretty good. And they're going to be a nice where they just shoot it like this.
