We could talk about adjustment periods and patience and give it 20 games and all that stuff still holds true.

It certainly factored in in large part tonight.

We could talk about how this team has been on the road for nine days,

and they came out absolutely not anywhere close to

the sort of effort that you need to come out to win an NBA game against a competent team

and this Atlanta team is competent. And I, it's funny because they're missing Hunter and they're

missing McDonovic and you could argue that they if maybe not got better, but because of the lineups now, they're forced to play that have a little bit more two-way versatility.

And certainly didn't seem to be missing anything offensively tonight.

You could argue they actually got better or at the very least did not get worse.

So that's a competent team.

You don't come out with that level of effort and beat a team like that on their home floor.

At least you shouldn't.
