We knew that it would be a tough sledding for them against this team, even with Kay Cunningham out.

But with Joel and B not in the lineup, second night of a back-to-back, not making excuses, just just that

Detroit is better than the Philadelphia 76 as they

complete the season sweep over the six is winning all four games over this basketball team.

And we have a lot to get to here tonight, including the big takeaway presented by Xfinity.

on the PHLY Sixth's postgame show. But Derek, again, I said in the beginning, I thought

they had a chance to stay in this one, maybe make this

one a game where they can hang in there at the end. After 56, 56, where there was some pretty good

runs, some shot making, some solid defense. But overall, even without Kate Cunningham, Jalen

Duren, Dennis Jenkins, Tobias Harris, just way too much for the Sixers. Yeah, no, and they did keep it relatively close. I mean, you mentioned it was a 56-56 tie. They had a really nice comeback to get back in the game, and it immediately unraveled. We were talking to 15 to one run by Detroit to end the half, put them up 11, or maybe not exactly to end the half, but towards the end of the first half, put them up 11 at the break and then all went downhill from there. Very, very, very quickly. And look, this is a Detroit team, who we mentioned in the pregame show, even without Cade, very strong defensively. Very, very, very strong defensively. They dominate the glass. They really force turnovers and they really just make your life miserable. And there's two ways, you know, they have to make some concessions to be able to apply that kind of pressure defensively. They give up threes and they let you get to the foul line. Well, the Sixers took advantage of neither. The Sixers ended up shooting eight for 29 from three point range. And most of those makes came from your top scores,

the guys that are actually generating and creating offense. Paul George had three of the

makes, Tyrese Maxie 2, Vijay Edgecombe 2. There was only one other made three from the entire

roster. That was Kelly Ubre, who was one for three from three point range. You had legitimately no role players make a shot. So you weren't able to take advantage of Detroit's

aggressive defense that way, and then you weren't able to get the free throw line. And I'm sure

a lot of people watching this right now will have some complaints about the refs. Sixers did not get very many calls.
