It was a disappointing loss.

The loss to Philadelphia last Thursday night, in my opinion, wasn't a bad loss.

It was just a bad game that they played.

Today, however, as an 11-point favorite at home against a team that was in freefall, this was a bad loss.

You know, despite the nature of division games, despite the history of when you least expect it in games between these two franchises in particular, it was still a bad loss.

I mean, Dallas was literally a team on life support coming in.

They had lost five in a row.

In most of the losses, they weren't even close.

The Cowboys were arguably the worst team in the NFL coming into today's game.

And Washington had the rest off a mini-buy. Dallas had this short week after playing on

Monday night football. This was a should-win game, a get-right game, and neither one of those two descriptions came close to being accurate.
