Utah Jazz, despite a miserable travel schedule, and a win the night before, came with just as much juice and energy and gave the San Antonio Spurs their first loss in eight, nine games, defeating the Spurs behind Guante George, Lowry Marketing.

But tonight, Yusuf Nururchitch will take the headlines in a

127, 114 win. We're talking about it on postcast.

Wow. David Locke, along with Ron Boone, we've got two players that stepped up that we haven't seen

in a while. We got Yusuf Nert had his best game as a jazz player.

We've got our studs playing.

We got Victor being Victor. But the overall story to me, Ron, was the

level of energy, the level

of connectedness, and the level of just

kind of force that the jazz played with

tonight. And I totally agree with you. I'm going to put

the number one area at the energy level, as you just mentioned, because there was a ton of energy out there on the floor, especially in that first half. I thought that was probably as much energy we've seen all season long. And just thinking back, okay, they got in bed at 4 o'clock this morning. And they're not tired. Are you kidding me? But that's, that was totally it. So there's a bunch of moments to talk about. Let's go to maybe the biggest. It's tied at 108. The Jazz have led by as many as 17. They've trailed by as many as 10. The spurs have worked their way back. There's seven and a half minutes left. Nurkich picks up his fifth foul.

We're taught that Nurkins have picked up his fifth foul like nine minutes left. He's on the bench. It's one. It, they do take Victor out of the game for his regular rest. But we're tied at 108. That's the moment where you thought all those stuff was going to go the wrong direction. You're tired. You're there. we would do a post-game show in which we're very pleased with the effort and the energy and all these things and how great they played.

But they actually finished the deal tonight.

That's to me what's most impressive.

I think, and you're absolutely right, David, but I think if I remember correctly, Keont matched Victor's points or whatever in that third quarter.

I'll look at my book there in a minute, but I really think that that's what really kept the jazz afloat, you know, from that standpoint, because Keante ended up in that third quarter playing very, very well.

All right, let's go to early in the game because early in the game, the jazz offense was brilliant. The jazz offense was brilliant all night. but the defense was really, really poor, and it got better and better as the night went on. And then it got really forceful. Then they had hands on balls and deflections. I don't know what they finished. Finished with 10 steals. I think it's only the sixth time this year. We've had double-digit steals. I mean, really, by the end of the night, guys were digging in. It was crowded. Cody Williams made a bunch of

plays. Guys really had an impact defensively. Yeah, and some guys off the bench there as well.

But I don't know if I've seen the jazz that's aggressive defensively, and I totally agree

all season long as they were in this basketball game.
