Here's a really simple rule for you about the NBA.

If you're on the wrong side of a 23-0-0 run, it's going to be super hard to come back and win.

The Jazz, we're on the wrong side of a 23-0-0 run to open the second quarter.

The Jazz, in that 23-0-0 run, did not score until the 6-20 mark of the quarter.

They went five minutes and 43 seconds without a point.

That is an eighth of a basketball game. That is not going to work for you. That is the story of the night, Ron, if we want to get into it. What happened in that run? Where did the Jazz fall apart? Because they really, up to that moment, were pretty good. They led by nine going into the second quarter. It felt like without Draymond, without Al Horford, that the Warriors were really

limited. It looked like they were having a hard time scoring. It felt like this was a game that was

available to the Utah Jazz tonight. It's, you know, you've seen things like this before

where team just get on a roll. You can't put the fire out. You call a timeout, and you said

that's mean anything, but you call a time

out to try to put a fire on the run and stuff like that and just nothing seems to get going.

And I can't really say one way or the other what really happened other than the fact that

jazz were not making any shots. I mean, I think Keonté was the only one that had a couple of points in that

quarter for the most part. But Keonté had 15 in the first quarter. A little bit as Keonti sat down, honestly. Yes, that's a little bit. I don't think he was in the ballgame. Yeah, I think last time I checked, and I have, you have the final box. I think Keonti was a positive in the plus minus pretty late in the game tonight

when the team was down by 20,

which is fairly remarkable.

Key finished tonight plus one on a game which the Jazz lost by 17.

Key was not on the floor for that stretch, and maybe that's the problem, Ron.

Maybe this team, as much as we're Lowry dependent, maybe we've become equally as Kiante dependent.
