They get to take out the starters and it is an ugly one for the Jets.

And luckily there is just one more remaining for this season.

I say new reality.

It's kind of been the reality throughout the course of this season, but it was on full display today, I think, for all of us to see.

The New York Jets gutted this roster throughout the course of the year. Yes, they've had some injuries that have done that, but they also made some trades, made some roster decisions, put Brady Cook under center to be the quarterback

over the last couple of weeks. They gutted this entire unit in an effort to maximize

their draft capital for next season, to put themselves in the best possible situation

to get a franchise quarterback in next year's draft, or at least be in the position to consider
