Summary

The Golden State Warriors had a six-point lead with just 1:16 to play, but couldn't close out the Houston Rockets as they stormed back to secure their first victory in the rivalry since 2020. A questionable foul call on a loose ball scrum with just 3.5 seconds remaining resulted in two Jalen Green free throws, which he sank to put the Houston Rockets up by one. Bad clock management by the Golden State Warriors put them in the situation in the first place, and a poor final possession couldn't bail them out. With the loss tonight, the Golden State Warriors are now 15-1 against the Houston Rockets since February of 2020.
