I feel like you need no introduction because you are super famous in the world of the post.

But I would love to just have you say, far listeners, who you are and what you do.

I am Carolyn Hacks and I am an advice columnist for the Washington Post and in syndication.

And I've been doing this since 1997.

And I have to say, I mean, for people who don't read the column, I mean, your column is legendary.

People are obsessed with it.

I feel like it's often, I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but it is often like the most

So how did you actually get into this line of work of giving people advice as your job?

Well, I was working in the style section for the editor Peggy Hackman.

And she was the editor of Style Plus, which doesn't exist anymore.

And she was telling me that she was being asked to consider some advice columns for younger
