Hello everyone, welcome to The Extra Inch. I'm here with Nathan and Bardi. This is a very

impromptu podcast. We have no running order. We've done no planning. We've barely said two

words to each other since joining the Skype call. Obviously, we're recording this because

this evening, Mauritio Poitino has been sacked by our club and we thought it was

important to get immediate reactions and I think first to say is obviously we'll need to do

another podcast about his tenure because there's so much to say but let's just get some immediate

reactions to this news Nathan let's start with you. You're very upset. I am very upset.

I've said before on this podcast that I'm not someone who generally let football affect them especially negatively.

I deal with bad results fairly well, but I'm genuinely very upset about this.

Shocks and angry and I don't know, it feels just a tiny little bit like a breakup.

Yeah, that was the first feeling that came to my mind as well.

Bardi, how about you?

Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I saw them.

I looked down at my phone and my phone kind of erupted and I kind of knew something

had happened.

And now it's, now it has happened.

I think I'm still trying to process it.

I don't know where I am.

I'm trying to be brave about it saying the club goes on and I've always seen the club

being bigger than one man and I've seen bail leave, I've

seen Gaza leave. I'm old enough to remember that horrible morning when I watch BBC News and

Waddle left and I've kind of been through a lot in my lifetime watching Spurs and this has
