President Basketball Operations Free got a lot of work ahead of her

as the Sixers have the number three overall pick and the 35th selection in the NBA draft, which is

that one, the second round, but plenty of discussion that we will be having from now until we get

to the two-day draft event, which would be June 25th, Wednesday, and June 26th, the second round

Thursday. Plenty, plenty to talk about from now until then.

We will get into a lot of news and notes a little bit later on and just some miscellaneous things at the end of the show.

Maybe show you a few graphics as well of the list of number three overall picks over the last few seasons that our buddy Chris has put together on our PHLY account. Shield your eyes on some of them. Yes. Shield your eyes on some of those. We'll show you that a little bit later. If you don't remember some of those names. But Derek, you were a little down after last. Now, you were happy that they kept the pick and moved up, but you got teased a little bit, man, with that number one overall pick. Cooper flag. Now, we think should go to Dallas with the number one overall pick. Number two, Dylan Harper, potentially to the San Antonio Spurs. And, of course, things get interesting with the Sixers at pick number three. They've been here before. They are here again. How you feeling today? Man, you feel a little better? Yeah. I mean, look, when you got that close, like, once they made the break and the commercial break, I really started dreaming about Cooper Flag and Dylan Harper. And it was hard for me to get out of that mindset. It's still hard for me to get out of that mindset. You know, I guess the way I would phrase it is it is exciting that the Sixers kept their pick. It's important that the Sixers kept their pick. But it was potentially like franchise altering if they would have gotten in top two. Like there's just a level of confidence that comes with those two players. that it doesn't mean that none of the people will talk about here from three on down

don't have an immense amount of potential. There's just a confidence level between those two

that would have made, I think, building a team so much easier and with a higher degree of

certainty that it would have been truly incredible. So it's a great break that they got to get up there

three. It's just it, you were, you were so close. You were just so close and it's killing me. It's probably going to kill me for a while. How about you, Kyle? How you feel it? I feel good. Listen, if people did not see me screaming on our show last night, I was shocked. I was shocked. I

Because when we were talking

about how great the Flyer show was, I'm like, I don't know if we're going to be like that. You know, we're just kind of kind of, all right, clap it up, react. We got a lot of good stuff. I was shocked to see you leave the seat and go and celebrate with. Oh, I mean, we had our people here too.

So I'm just cognizant of like it's very emotional for all our friends that we got to see last night and spent some time with.

And but listen, I always say we root for ourselves as much as anybody else.
