It is John Pollock and over the weekend we got the unfortunate news about the passing of

Rick Bogner at the very young age of 49 and I wanted to bring on someone that knew

Rick very well he was actually the person that alerted me to Rick's passing that

being Paul Lazonby Paul it's always great when we get to speak, but this is obviously under some very unfortunate

circumstances with the passing of Rick and I just wanted to chat a bit about him because I think he's

someone that a lot of people are familiar with him, but you got to know him at a level that I think few did and this one obviously has definitely hit you this weekend.

Yeah, it definitely does get close to home. You know I met Rick very early in my own

wrestling career relatively early in his own. He was, I point out to people a lot that he's a guy that if he wasn't so good at stepping on his own

genitalia he would have made a much bigger impact of the business because he was a big man

in the big man era and he had a great look and he was really the first one to out of our whole crop of Calgary talents you know the group that I was kind of rubbing shoulders with in Calgret at the time who were starting out were guys like Dr. Luther and Lance Storm and Chris Jericho Mike Lozanski and Rick was the first one out of that pack to make it in Japan and the first one out of that

pack to get signed on W. W. So he was definitely a guy that you know all the
