I had interviews with Senators Debbie Stabenow, Democrat Michigan, Ron Johnson, Republican

Wisconsin, and Rod Rosenstein. He was the former deputy U.S. Attorney General who oversaw

the Trump Special Counsel during the Trump presidency. I'm sitting here now with the Revernal

Sharpton, he's president of National Action Network. He shows to politics nation on MSNBC.

He was on the panel this week, but also be leading tomorrow's annual Martin Luther King

Day Jr. breakfast here in Washington, keynote speaker, none other than President Biden,

Reverend Sharpton, good to see you, man. Good to be with you, Joe.

Let me get two quick takeaways on the current politics of the moment. You said something

that, because I'm having flashbacks in 97, 98, right, when we're sort of a town consumed

by scandal, where nothing else can sort of break through and get done. But that moment

of scandal and Clinton, it was the first time Clinton became beloved by the Democratic

base. You thought that there is a, that if Republicans play this the wrong way, they

can actually help Biden if they're not careful. Is it that Clinton experience? You're pointing

back at it.

Absolutely. And I remember very well, I was part of that Clinton experience. People began

at first a sense of outrage, which Bill Clinton was accused of doing. What he in fact

did. But then as it went on a few days and then when in the weeks, people say, wait a

minute, you're going to do what? You're going to just crucify the punishment seemed over,

over, over, over rock. Yeah.

In this case, it's even worse because when you have a comparison between what 15 boxes

and a guy that didn't want to give up anything and a guy that fought us, the penis, and

...
