Hello there, I'm Chuck Todd. I just got off the Meet the Press set. It is still Sunday morning

in case you're wondering. We just wrapped up interviews today on set with Senator Cory Booker,

the Democrat from New Jersey, and the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

I'm sitting here now with one of my senior producers here at Meet the Press, Ali Sansa.

We're going to talk a little bit about the show. We just wrapped up what we learned from it

in some ways, hi, Ali. Hi. So welcome, welcome to the Toddcast. Thank you. It's actually my second time.

It's your second appearance of the Toddcast, my apology. Look, I would say this, my, you know,

there's different ways to take number one, you know, different takeaways. Unbooker, the minute I

heard 2.5, it went out of his mouth. It was like, you know, it was like stop like you know,

it was what I hit pause. Okay, we know where this is headed. Right. With Mayorkas, do you regret sending

any other station pack? No. And you're like, okay, we know where that story is headed. You know,

those were two, I think, of the most consequential things that were said on that front. But, you know,

I don't want to poison your brain here. I mean, Booker was on as a Biden circuit, is what I was

thinking. You know, you felt like he was protecting by the beginning of the interview. It was

we're here to talk about the Biden agenda. I'm not going to get into this. He doesn't say it's not

progressive. Exactly. He's not going to get into this. But then it was kind of like when the

moderates and progress was passed each other in the hallway, it ended out in the open office. It's

like, well, we're still on two separate teams here. But honestly, I thought the most interesting

part was the talk about police reform and Tim Scott and the breakdown there. What do you make? I

mean, it's interesting here. And of how Tim Scott used a political talking point to declare

why he thought it ended. And Cory Booker would not respond in kind. And in some ways, that's very

Cory Booker. Yeah. But he almost, he wouldn't even criticize Tim Scott for basically playing a
