Well Liverpool have got one foot in the semi-finals of the Champions League after a

an ultimately routine 2-0 victory over Porto here at Anfield tonight.

Jorga Club side got off to an absolute flyer too up inside 26 minutes it looked like at that point they

might do another demolition job on Porto similar to the one in the last 16 stage

a year ago it didn't quite pan out like that. Standard slipped a little bit. They

didn't maintain that real grip on proceedings and Porto came back into it but

Liverpool did dig deep and and see it out and it is a position of

massive strength in the tie I think still some work to be done at Estadio
