Let's talk about it. Another elite night of hoops. The Indiana Pacers are headed to the conference

finals again with the 114-105 victory over the Cavs. In the nightcap game, the OKC Thunder

shut the faucet off in their fourth quarter to take a three-two series lead over the Denver

Nuggets. But before we get to the nightcap, we have to talk about the patients because

they won this series and they're going back to the conference finals. Now, you know, I do these recaps almost nightly.

I shoot two podcasts a week with numbers on the board or really three if you count the TV

show.

And it's about to be four.

Spoiler, we're getting a second TV show a week.

And then I also shoot small ball with Kenny Beecham.

So at the very minimum, I'm doing five podcasts a week plus four to five videos on this channel.

And I try my very best not to get takes and have them be across different platforms.

Because I want you to watch everything and get a different opinion or get a different topic talked about.

But one of the things I mentioned on Smallball, I have to mention again here because I think it's really, really relevant to what the Indiana patients have been able to do, right?

The conversation is really relevant now because of the draft lottery happened in about 24 hours

ago. And one of the main conversations had it after that is people questioning if the

flattened odds are doing exactly what the commissioner slash the NBA want them to do.

The question from Sam Presti,

when these flattened odds were trying to be incorporated, was how are small a market team

supposed to get start players, retain start players, and do a successful rebuild if they don't

draft high? And as you know, teams like the Wizards, teams like the Jazz, the teams that really

went out there to suck the season, drop four to four spots, five spots in some cases.
