Never pulled into the last days of the League Cup after a two-one win against

Bormuth here at the vitality stage in this evening. A difficult game played in

even more difficult conditions as the Reds navigated the twin onslaught of both

Pormuth and Storm Keir and to emerge victorious with Darwin-Nunez and

Cody Gappo scoring the goals. A fairly dull lifeless first half was brought into life when Cody Ackb scored his first goal since the

body registered against Tottenham in late September, the Netherlands International reacting first from a shot into the box from Harvey Elliott

a bit of pinball inside the area and the Dutch striker made sure that he was on

hands to turn the past Andre Radu for 1-0.

The Reds went into the halftime interval with the lead

but were pegged back after a series of dangerous inter-swinging corners
