My name's Andrew Spade, joined by Jake Burns. Jake, Merry Christmas. It's good to be back with you after the holiday. Hope your holiday was good. It was good, man. I hope your holiday was good as well. It was a day of reminding myself, we need more space in our house. Toys are everywhere. Things are strewn all over, have some family over. It's like, man,

we need some more square footage in this place. But now it was good. The kids got what they wanted. It was one of those where you look at the tree the night before and you're like, man, you know, most men are not involved in a lot of the toy purchasing. My wife just loves that stuff. And then I looked at, I'm like, God, we got a ridiculous amount of stuff.

And it's like, you kind of like, like, just loves that stuff. And then I looked at, I'm like, God, we got

a ridiculous amount of stuff. And it's like, you kind of like, I think my wife even said, you need to, we need to make a spreadsheet next year. It just gets away from me at some point. You get them so many things that they want. And then you look at the tree and you're like, they've they've opened five things. And they're just, they just want to play with those five things. and there's still like 60% of gifts still to go.

So we're living and learning. We're taking notes. We're looking at the film this off season before we go into next holiday season. We're going to try to improve, Andrew. We're going to do the best we can review that tape and try to be better next year. That's all I have to say. And now on to Miami.

I love, I love your wife's effort to get analytics involved, too, get a spreadsheet going and

really data this thing up and get some metrics behind it. Because that's, really, that's what you got to

figure out not only what you've bought, but also, you know, what's giving them the most joy per dollar, right? That's what you got to look into, too, because sometimes the cheap stuff is the stuff that gets, you get the most mileage out of paradox. Right. And we got to look at the primary toy positions that matter the most when we're doing our early draft. It's a lot going on here, Andrew. Yeah, you've got, you've got Switch. Nintendo Switch is going to be, that's your quarterback, right?

That's the guy you kind of build around that. That's at the center. And then you've got a few other important positions as well. It's a great holiday here as well. Just as I kind of said, as we were going into it, a great opportunity to take a little bit of time and recharge things. And I think we're going to have a lot of interesting conversations over the next week or two on the podcast, Jake, about where things are headed.

And we'll see. I think both of us still feel like it's an open question, what happens with this team over the next two weeks leading into the off season and how they kind of set the

table for what comes after the season.

I don't think either of us feel settled in terms of what that is going to look like for

them.

So we're going to have to just kind of watch and see the same way that you all are out there

and react basically to what we find out.

And I think based on what the decisions are that they make, that will definitely shape

the coverage that we take into the off season as well.
