Packers football training camp is upon us.

The 2025 season is literally right around the corner.

Mark, it's almost like that first, you know, remember when you get that first really nice, like, scent of fall and you're like, oh, this is a great time of year. Football's back. First day of school, right? No, it wouldn't be that.

Oh, I just liked the first day of school. I didn't like the rest of the days, but I like the first. The first one. First day of school and last day of school were always my two favorite days of school. Because they were the easiest, the lightest, I guess, or whatever for your career. Yeah, you get to see your friends and all then. Yeah, because see, it's funny,

like especially in elementary school, I didn't live near my, it's a long story, which I'm not

going to get, get into, but I didn't live near my school. So I didn't see my school friends all

summer, hardly. Okay. That's Like, you know, something rare.

So, yeah, so it was always kind of cool. You know, I hadn't seen him three months or whatever, two months, whatever time you were off. So that was always cool. And then last day of school was always cool because last day of school, you're done. Right. So, hey, we got to, we got to announce. I hope people listening, do I sound better? I'm asking you to listeners. Do I sound better because thanks to our boss, the podfather, Andy Herman, I'm using a nice new microphone because apparently people didn't think I was sounding so clear. So hopefully I sound very clear. And you understand every word that comes out of my mouth because we all know I say very important things. Yes, very important things. And they

want to, Mark, they just want to be closer to you. That's true. They want to hear your voice

even more clearly than I was before. I didn't know it wasn't, but apparently we had some

problems. So now, like I said, thanks to Andy, we have it. We're good to go.

Andy Giveth and he does not take it. That is a beautiful relationship that we have with our podfather. Absolutely. So we appreciate that from from Andy as always at all the great work that he does. In fact, one of the things that he did earlier this week was the Tuesday show. In fact, he and Justice broke down the Zach Tom contract. And Mark, you've only been saying for, I don't know how long, they're going to do something, they're going to do something. They always do something right before camp. And lo and behold, I'm assuming this is it. There's, I mean, there's still, right, we're recording on, we're recording on Tuesday. The show goes up Thursday. So there could be more stuff, but obviously, number one, Zach Tomry sign, that's a, that's a very good thing. And number two, I thought the contract that they were able to get done is very, very palatable. Yeah, no, yes, I agree with, I agree with all that. They gave them, it's good on, on both sides. It's, you know, 22 a year isn't bad for a guy that I think is, I mean, I know he's rated with the third best right tackle behind Lane Johnson and, and Sewell from Detroit. Right. He's getting pretty old. I know Lane, I'm, eagle that I, I, I, I cover. I have some issues with Lane Johnson. I mean, he was caught cheating twice. People don't want to bring, bring that up anymore. I guess football treats steroids different than baseball does, apparently, huh? Yeah, it's, it's a little picky, choosy. I mean, guys who never test a positive for steroids but are thought to have taken them

or treat it like, oh, my, oh, well, he took stereo.
