In this episode, we are going to cover self-talk and how important it is.

That way, you can control your intentions. If you listen to yesterday's podcast, we talked about how intention is so meaningful and

important to how you experience things. But a lot of people sent me messages asking like,

well, what is intention? What does that really mean? And that's where I wanted to dive into

self-talk. It's the voice in your head. But to really understand it, I want to lay out a scenario

for you. Imagine you're

around somebody and this person is a regular person. They're not good. They're not bad, but there's

somebody around a lot. Maybe it's a spouse, a family member, but it's someone that you're going to be

around pretty much daily around this person. But there's one thing in particular that they always do. When you come up with an idea, they tell you you just can't do it. It's a bad idea. You shouldn't do it. You're going to fail for this reason. In fact, here's all the reasons you fell before. You just shouldn't do it. In fact, everybody that does it fails. Don't do it. Stay away from it. Now, initially, you might think, well, I'm just not

going to listen to this person. But we know that over time, if someone is in a type of relationship like

that where somebody is having a clear opinion on something and then forcing that opinion on to you,

that that person can actually dictate how you feel about yourself. Maybe as a kid you had

somebody that told you couldn't do anything or even as an adult you had somebody that told you
