| 0:11.9 | Perhaps it's something that is in the news or the media because we're dealing with a lot of crazy stuff right now. |

| 0:19.5 | Here's a way to deal with it. Remind them of the common |
| 0:24.0 | vision and mission that they have, that they're working on together. We have to unite around a |
| 0:29.5 | common vision and mission, a path forward, a road ahead. What are we here to do together? What is a distraction that's getting in the way? |

| 0:45.1 | move you towards the vision and mission? I recently had to do that with a company that brought me in |
| 0:50.2 | for this very specific reason because they were struggling with so much divisiveness. |
| 0:55.0 | And I came in there and I reminded them of their common goal, their vision and mission of what |
| 1:01.1 | they were here to do with their jobs and their work and then said, do not allow all this other |
| 1:06.2 | stuff to get in the way. You value each other, which is a key commitment, a commitment to valuing each other, |
| 1:13.1 | even though you may disagree with each other. You have a commitment to the vision and mission |
| 1:17.4 | of the team and where you're going together. And when you do that and remember that, you'll be more |
| 1:23.9 | successful, more productive, and you will not allow all the stuff of this world |
| 1:28.4 | to get in the way of the work that you're meant to do and the mission that you're on. |
| 1:33.0 | Remember that and bring this to your team to remind them of this as well. |
