The headline story of the day, yes, we're going to talk a lot about Yarmal Kikelana,

now X of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

They dismissed their general manager earlier today.

And in a really, you know, in a very curiously phrased press release,

they will, the team will go through the process of selecting another general manager,

or rather the next general manager for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

And why do I say that that's curious?

Well, a couple of different reasons here.

One, we should mention John Davidson will take over the general manager's duties,

while the club goes through the process of hiring a replacement.

Now, that's a very unique way to phrase this.

It doesn't say who will lead this process to find a new general manager.

It doesn't say that they will begin the process immediately to find a new general manager. It doesn't say that they will begin the process

immediately to find a new general manager. John Davidson, along with the team's hockey operations

management team, will assume the general manager's duties while the club goes through the process

of hiring a replacement.
