If you could work anywhere in the world, if a laptop was all you needed to do your thing, where would you go?

Maybe Mexico City, Bali, Berlin? Well, what about a place where freshly squeezed

orange juice can be had for less than a euro, where the pace of life is relaxed, even in a bustling

European capital? The sky is a beautiful blue and the smells of grilled fish mingle with coffee

in a labyrinth of coloured cobbled streets.

Well, as places to do remote work go, the Portuguese capital of Lisbon seems hard to top.

A huge reason why tens of thousands of high-value, high-s, remote workers have decided to call it home.

Home for a little while, because these guys, they don't plan to stay.

They're an emerging type of mobile worker known as the digital nomads.

Lisbon is a great place where you can have the benefits in all that of a city, but also be

able to escape very quickly to more of like a beach surf kind of lifestyle.

For them, it's like, wherever I lay my laptop, that's my home. The only problem is, it's

also someone else's. The public space in Lisbon has been renewed to feed that kind of life.
