Hey guys and welcome back to another episode of portrait session on the

improved photography podcast. My name is Connor Hibbs and today I am joined by Miss Erica.

How are you doing today Erica?

I'm good, Connor, how are you?

Oh, I'm doing really well.

My dog is in doggy daycare today, so I have the whole house to myself to just

get some work done which is a rarity. Yeah. So anyway today we're going to be

talking on a little bit more of an abstract concept, I guess, not specific

photography advice, but rather advice that we would give to our younger photography

selves.

This is something that I kind of thought of because this last weekend,

Sandy DeRoe and I hosted one of our workshops,

and I kept on getting questions that I seem to get all the time and it just seems like sometimes I give out answers to those things and find people just not utilizing my advice or really maybe taking it to heart and the interesting thing is I remember

that in myself where I would ask questions of people sometimes and then not follow through

with it to only much later on realize like oh no that was actually

super solid advice should have listened to that yeah so yeah so you know I kind of

want to just talk about things that I would have told myself when I was newer to photography,

knowing that I wanted to learn a lot, and not knowing these quote unquote magic tricks of photography.

Yeah, and I think this is a super helpful
