Today we are talking about updates on the Portia Taicon and the Jagiori Pace

and a new delivery concept for Tesla.

Tesla stock on Friday closed down 3.09% to $297.18, this compared to the NASDAQ down 1.46%.

As a reminder, Tesla's Q2 earnings report is this week on Wednesday after the market close.

No major Tesla news over the weekend, but a couple of updates from competition that I thought

were interesting.

Tesla Rotti on Friday posted an article sharing some details on the production plans

for the Porsche Ticon.

Portia plans to produce the Ticon at their Stuttgart-Zufenhausen production facility,

but their management recently explained to an auto publication, ironically named

of Room, that setting up production for the Tycon was proving to be a significantly difficult task.

Portia currently produces the 9-11, the 718 Boxer, and the 718 Cayman at this facility,

and they need to continue producing those at full capacity

while simultaneously ramping up Tycan production.

Portia's head of production, Albrecht Rimmold said, quote,

finding the right location is a difficult decision.

Transforming the existing factory costs a lot of money,

moving to a new location as well.
