Oh, hello. It is almost, well, it's just gone 10 o'clock, through a four minutes after, to be precise,

and you have made the excellent decision, possibly the best decision you'll make all day of listening

to James O'Brien on LBC, where, have we done this? I almost feel that I should probably start

keeping some sort of record of what we've actually talked about on air. Does anyone do that?

Does anyone write this stuff down? Do we have any, what do we do yesterday? Anyone remember what we did yesterday? We did the banks giving money to every sort of dodgy

geeseer on the planet under the bounce back loan scheme. We, of course, jumped immediately upon

the high court judgment that the government had broken the law with regard to the first lockdown and the insertion of

thousands of people into care homes who may well have been bringing a fatal virus with them.

And I think we probably did something else as well.

We squeezed in at the end, didn't we?

The fact that all of the

relevant bodies and authorities had already rubbish the government's, quote, innovative

schemes, end quote, designed to ameliorate some of the impacts of the cost of living crisis.

There you go. I can remember. Sometimes, but I can't remember what I've done on the show at

10 past 1, never mind the actual next day. but I can't remember what I've done on the show at 10 past 1,

upon the fact that we live in a country now where nobody in power ever gets punished for anything.

It's actually quite remarkable. Even the words I just said to you, oh, the government

broke the law yesterday, or the government was found in the high court to have broken the law yesterday.

There will be other examples of this with other regimes under other British governments, I'm

sure.
