really weird, unspeakably weird, to be a Scotsman talking to a room full of mostly Americans,

He's had that second blessing in life, so quite a few of you.

So those of you who have been there will know that Scotland is an amazing place.

There's so much common grace everywhere you look, but there are two things that we don't have and they are related and one is actually the cause of the other and the first thing

that we don't have is good weather and because of that the second thing that

we don't have is porches a porch would be the most completely pointless

waste of money that you could imagine in Scotland, you would never use it.

So we don't have them.

But anyway, I'm here to talk to you about church porches, in part because it's something that we, the idea of a porch is something that we, as I said, we don't have in Scotland.

And that means that we don't have porch culture.
