Summary
It's nearly tax time and we're hearing lots of rumors about tax strategies that just don't work. So we were relieved to read a headline that walked us through several rumors that weren't true. We'll go over them in detail on today's podcast!
Plus we get serious about sexism in the financial press. Do pieces aimed at women speak to them differently than pieces aimed at men? Our roundtable will weigh in on men, women, and the differences in the way we talk about money. To talk about these topics, we're joined by our crack regular team of contributors: Paula Pant (Afford Anything) and Len Penzo (Len Penzo dot com), along with our very own OG.
We also answer a three-oh call for help to the Blooom hotline. Steve wants to know if there's any reason NOT to consolidate his many accounts spread all over the place. What's the downside he might not be seeing?
