In today's episode, we're going to be discussing what Pope Leo said about Charlie Kirk's assassination.

It's a little bit ambiguous.

And he took a few days to get to saying it, and he only released the statement through

Mateo Bruni, who's the Vatican spokesperson who was always giving us somewhat vague remarks from Francis.

So you be the judge of what the statement that he released on Charlie Kirk means.

And this comes out just a couple of days before he gives this first full-length interview.

I'm also going to make some brief remarks on that interview.

People are commenting on it.

I didn't really want to put it in the title,

but I want to comment on a few of the remarks that right-wing Catholic media is using to comment on, on Leo's, sort of vague remarks in that

broader interview that he gave to Crux recently. So that's, that's today's show. I,

the Charlie Kirk assassination has continued to be a cultural phenom, a horrible, horrible thing.

But I've just been surprised each day anew, increasingly surprised how much, how ubiquitous it is in the news.

I never knew that Charlie Kirk was this big.

He's probably now a bigger name because people are learning who he was,

even if they didn't know before his assassination. But it's just, it's crazy. The story is

larger than life. Jimmy Kimmel has been fired from his crummy show.

I guess he was only getting barely six figures of views per night anyway for making

anti-Charlie Kirk remarks or smug remarks on Charlie Kirk.

And it just continues to be a force on Twitter where you see jerks saying awful, heinous things,

worse than jerks, monsters saying awful heinous things and making jokes about it.
