What most people think. Hello, and welcome to this week's episode of what most people think. And I'm going to do all the cliches you do after Easter. Oh, did you eat too much chocolate? Or at least it's a short week. Oh, it'll be summer soon, all that sort of stuff. So that is out of the way now. We obviously had the big news at the weekend that the Pope sadly passed away. And I'm going to bring in Rialina on this comic hot potato here, the Pope. Look, I'm obviously not going to joke about the Pope dying, but why do famous people so often die on weekends or public holidays? It seems to be a feature, doesn't it? You wake up, news alert. I love that you brought me in on a comic hot potato of the Pope dying. I was very impressed by the Pope lasting till Sunday night, actually.

Because if you think about it, he came out, he did the Easter, you know, he was there

for the Easter message and everything.

And I just thought it was, it's just politeness, isn't it, to time your death after something

big like that?

The most popy thing that a Pope could do is to stick it out for Easter. It's quite impressive really. There was a really unfortunate clip doing the rounds on Sky News where they were doing a panel chat. And one of the panelists said, look, it was great to see him out, you know, looking better, sounding better, looks like he's on the road to recovery. And then the host said, thanks very much. We do have breaking news from the Vatican. You're like, oh shit. Oh, shit. But, you know, it was both expected and a surprise. But huge news. So we will be talking about that this week. We'll be talking about also the selection process going forward, which is arguably one of the most intriguing things that happens. I don't know how many

Pope, I'm maybe on the fourth or fifth Pope in my life, Ria, you're a bit younger than me. How many

popes have you done? Do you know what? He's the only one I can remember. No, no, that's not true.

Obviously, we all remember the one before him, who was the first Pope to retire rather than die in office.

Was that Ratzenberger, the German? Yes. And then therefore, there would have been, like,

I know logically there was one before Ratzenberger. But that's it. I don't feel like I was

consciously aware of the Pope until Ratsenberger retired and Francis came in. We will, of course,

talk about how they do select the new Pope going forward. And apparently everyone's supposed to have watched Conclave. Have you heard this? I'm sure I haven't checked, but I'm sure it's now trending on Netflix or whatever platform it's on. Well, everybody they've heard talk about it, you know, on the radio and everything is going, well, of course, we all understand this process intimately because we've all seen Conclave. And I went, what's conclave? I haven't heard or seen it conclave. I'm still, I'm still catching up on knowing that I need to watch adolescents. Yeah, just a list. I mean, that is one thing. You know when they said that people, when you, when you die, the last thing you'll ever think is I should have watched more TV. I now think that I might think that,

because there's so much good stuff being made. In the age where it was all heartbeat and Bergerac, you know, that was all very self-contained. There weren't these dramatic, epic mini-series that you have to watch. Well, you know what? I am just in season seven. I've just re-watched all of the good wife,

which I've already seen. I thought you're going to say Bergerac there,

because if you were going to say Bergerac, you have to call it series, okay? It's a UK, it's a UK show, Series 7 of Burjera. No, no, I'm in season seven because it's American of Goodwife. And I do have that guilt of going, And why am I watching this again when there's so much other good stuff out there that I haven't seen that I should be watching? But it's so good. And it's kind of comfort food. Do we only eat one good burger and never go back to that restaurant again? No, of course not. When you find a good place to eat, you go back there over and over again. And I feel like comfort television is the same thing.

So I know I'm supposed to watch adolescence, and I will.

But do you know what attracts me to adolescents more is the fact that every episode is filmed in one shot?

I'm more intrigued to see that than to see the topic of the show because I feel like I already know it from everybody else discussing it online,

on TV, on radio.
