Summary

We began recording this episode on Sunday with really just one thought in mind--talking about E3. And in the second segment we do that, mostly focusing on E3s passed and how the show changed during the time we (well, minus Dan) were actively involved in gaming magazine publishing. We share a few stories, a few yarns, a few fun anecdotes. The perfect thing in case any of you are heading down to the "new" E3, which takes place this week (none of us are, btw -- though two of us were invited).

Other topics briefly touched upon including Microsoft's admission of defects with the 360 and the new warranty/repair program they've got going for anyone who's experienced red rings past, present and future. Unfortunately too late for those who just up and bought new systems. And we talk about the PS3 price cut coming this week, which was confirmed in between the time we recorded this and the time the finished episode was posted. Unfortunately it's just a temporary price cut in lieu of another $599 PS3 hardware SKU coming in August. What the heck is Sony doing?

And naturally we begin the show by talking about what we played this week. Which isn't much, but there's some good stuff in here. If you like Moist Hollows, and awesome segues.

So stop breaking the fourth wall and let's continue. Oh, right. All right. And joining us from the West Coast is a guy who's probably had his tickets for the new Harry Potter movie for weeks now. Phil Theobald. Hurrah for Konami and the Goonies.

1:17.2	I haven't gotten my Harry Potter tickets yet either.

1:23.7	Today, of course, being Sunday.
1:27.4	Sunday. And not the day that most people are probably listening to this. So, I still have a couple of days. I would have figured, though. I would have figured that you would have had them for way longer. I don't know if you heard this or not, but Harry Potter's like for little kids. So. Oh. You mean like, you're a little kid? You're short. You are pretty small.
1:47.6	I am. I just haven't gotten a chance to get to the theater yet. I will, though. Guaranteed.
1:53.4	All righty. And joining us from Florida is a guy that wishes they'd make Gordon Ramsey's reality cooking show Hell's Kitchen into a video game, Dan Dormer. You know, would you get to play as him, though? Because if you got to play as him, it would be really fun. Fresh and exploring the moist cave. Is that what it was, Phil? Moist hollows. Yeah, moist hollows. Yeah, what was that? I guess we're jumping right into what you've been playing then.
