We wanted to discuss some fond memories we have of Andy Barron, our colleague, from EGM, circa 90s, as well to give our condolences to his friends and family.

We worked with Andy many years ago on EGM, and one of my earliest and fondest memories would be actually the first day I met Andy was Ed brought him to my office.

I had a separate office at the time as the contract publishing manager of EGM.

And he was probably the most excited person I think I've ever met in my life.

He had never met me before.

He had been working on the helplines, which were actually right around the corner,

but I never went in there.

I had way too much to do, and I was so busy that they were looking to get me an assistant.

So when Andy came around the corner with Ed, he's like, well, guy, we need to, you know, try Andy out.

He's been doing good work on the helpline and he's got some computer skills and we wanted to see if he can be of some use to you.
