Because I really didn't, I barely scratched the surface.

This is a topic both of us have long been obsessed with.

Yes.

And I'm not talking about like, oh, like name, like specifically.

Like I'm talking about like cuisine trends. Yes.

Movements in food. Yes. Okay. And like what we were eating. Love it. Throughout the decades. And why.

So we're, I really wanted to begin like way in the olden days, but I think that'll be like another episode. So we're only beginning in the 60s and 70s for this episode. And that is with fondue. Love it. I love fondue. I do too. And I love it because it was retro. That's why I first tried it, I think. I think I saw it in an old cookbook. I have to make a correction because I erroneously said on

this podcast at some point that my cousin barfed in a fondue. She was little and she messaged me or I asked her about it and she's like that never

happened I was like why do I have a memory of you brought up in the fondue did I imagine someone

texting you that you're like what I don't know why I have this like vivid memory where did she she barf? Like in the pot. No, but where did it? It was like at a party somewhere. Or just not in a fondue pot? I hallucinated the whole fucking story. Oh my God. But we did eat fondue at a party together once. Wow. That's crazy. So I was very, very young. Yeah. I was like five and she was three. Oh, my God. And I, for some reason, thought she threw up in it. But it's impossible at the age of three she didn't remember? No, because she, I mean, I realized I'm like, this would be more of a family story. Got it. Wow. They're dragging her. The family.

It's like, let's get the three-year-olds. But you know how like it would be like,

oh, that would be a family story. It's definitely probably changed throughout the years.
