Hey, how's everybody's spring going?

I have my AC turned on.

I pushed it back and pushed it back and pushed it back some more because

it's May, or at least it's been May. It'll be June when you're listening to this, but where I come

from up north, we don't turn the AC on in May. But now I'm down south in Chattanooga and I realize

not turning your AC on in May is like, oh, I don't know, welcoming the devil across your doorstep, if I may invent an idiom on the spot.

It is foolish. I was stewing in here for no reason at all, so now I have the AC on and all is right with the world.

Where are you listening from? And also to my gardener listeners, I want to know how your gardens are doing. Because to be honest, I'm having some garden insecurity. My plants do not seem to be growing

very fast. They've kind of been at the same height for weeks now.

And I know we're not supposed to compare ourselves to others. But when you hear a friend say to someone else,

hey, stop by any time and harvest some of my extra veggies. It's hard not to feel insecure.

What do you mean? She has zucchini already available.

My tomato plants have a couple small yellow flowers. The only thing I've harvested are sugar snap peas and a child could grow those. I'm just like, I'm not, I'm not that impressed with myself for growing sugar sap peas. I'm sorry. I've eaten exactly one strawberry from the vine and that's it. Nothing to show for flowers, nothing to show for veggies, not a sign of a cucumber on my tiny little cucumber plants. What's going on? I'm telling myself that

the plants are putting down roots and they're focusing on that before they grow up. Oh, is there a
