I'm your host, Josie Van Dyke, and welcome to this week's solo episode. We hit a million

fucking dollars! Are we okay? I'm not okay. I'm in shock. I'm

overwhelmed with emotions. I knew it was coming, but it's so crazy when it actually happens,

even when you're anticipating it because I know how much it took to get to this point and I think if you're not in this

industry I think sometimes we lose the value of numbers, even people who just scroll Instagram.

And sometimes you get 50 likes and you're like, oh, 50's not that much, 50's nothing.

But I need you to think about 50 people in a room. That's a lot of people.

And so I think we just get used to numbers and we just don't think they're as big as they are.

And we see these influencers with millions of followers and

hundreds and thousands of likes and we just it doesn't you just can't

comprehend it you can't comprehend it but because I am over here, busting my ass, seeing how much work and dedication goes

into it, I'm shooketh that I have a million downloads because that is a lot of

fucking downloads and for me in because again I talked about this in the last

solo I'm just competing with myself. I am

putting my head down focusing on me. I'm not looking at what everyone else is doing and for me

this is huge this is huge. I remember when I got a thousand downloads and truthfully I

thought I was the shit I I was like, damn, why is nobody signing me right now? I'm so famous.

And obviously I wasn't at the time, but you have to be delusional. You have to be delusional okay if I have learned anything in

Podcasting it's to be delusional and I know for a fact that in two years I'm gonna look back at this moment and I'm going to say wow she thought she was a

shit but she ain't even the fart okay you know you know it it's just crazy.
