Hey, listen, if that little jingle singer and that sweet voice sounds familiar, there's a reason why. About four years ago, it was in September of 2020. We got this jingle from a little girl and her name is Ari. And at the time, the mom wrote, hi, Kelly, one of your best customers here. Today I wanted to share my daughter's voice, singing the jingle. We both love listening to you on the radio on our commute. And her name is Ari. Hope all is good with you. And your family, that's from Bruno, Argumont. Well, Argumont, excuse me, I want to make sure I say that right. And that was COVID because we were playing jingles on the radio too. Right. So this was back then. So this was on the radio and possibly on the podcast as well. Well, fast forward to just this past month in November, on November 19th of 2024, the McKinney Fire Department honored now 12 year old Ari for life saving actions during a ceremony at City Hall. Just one day after attending the department's babysitter club, Class of November 2nd, Ari sprang into action to save her eight year old younger sister from choking using the life saving first aid skills she just learned the day before. Isn't that amazing? Her sister was feeding, are putting a collar on the dog. They were going to take the dog for a walk. And she had a piece of candy, hard candy. And when she bent over to kind of do that, she'd start choking on it. Let me tell you, Robert, that sounds difficult. I was sucking on a peppermint candy when I was doing yoga one time. Think because you know, sore throat or whatever, and it got lodged in there. That can easily happen. You can't be bending over and stuff. You don't think about stuff like that. But how amazing this babysitter class that she took the day before. What God's grace and mercy and timing that was. Well, back to this little note, the babysitter club class isn't just any training program. It's a class full of essential safety knowledge. The course teaches fire safety baby child CPR and basic first aid, partnering with Baylor Scott and White Medical Center McKinney participants also receive stop the bleed training while the McKinney Police Department provides lessons in home security. It's a free 90 minute class that equips young individuals with confidence skills they need to handle emergencies and shine as capable caregivers. This class will be held again in the spring of 2025. Class is designed for ages 11 to 18. Well, I'm going to tell you what, that is something we all need to look into for our kids. Not just for, you know, everybody thinks that babysitters is being little girls, but big brothers, they are in charge of watching their little sibling sometimes. That's amazing. And we have the results of Ari's efforts, her sister's life being spared, that's so amazing. We have a hero as part of the podcast family. You know, we probably have more than one year of listening to us, Robert. And I count you among the heroes.

Yes, I do without you, we wouldn't be here. So thank you, Ari. It was good to hear your sweet voice four years later. And now it's time to hear some fresh new problems. All right. Here we go. Dear Kelly, you are the love expert. I am. I'm 31 with two kids, a boy that's 10 and a girl seven. and I've been married for 13 years to the same man.

4:45.8

This is why?

4:46.9

Yes, you're 31 years old and married 13.

4:48.7

Okay, so she was such a such. 31 with two kids, a boy that's 10 and a girl seven, and I've been married for 13 years to the same man.

4:45.8

31?

4:46.9

Yes, she's 31 years old, been married 13. Okay, so she was just a child bride. This man is a great father and husband when he wants to be. Too many times he has not gone to our kids' activities because of his health, he's on disability. And I've been the one to feed, raise, and run our kids around all by myself these last seven years.

He has left me to run off to his mom several times also because he can't handle that anymore. Oh my goodness. I recently found out that he's addicted to his prescription pills and things have just gotten worse since then. We've done counseling and I've tried to be there to support him, but according to him, I just don't do a good enough job. I've read a few books on marriages and how to work through this, but that fine line of taking care of him, like a mother and through sickness and health, is really starting to get

to me.

My question for you is, should I stay or should I go sign the married single mom? You know, in this case, I would say go because yeah, in sickness and in health, but he's not even an active participant in this relationship. He's running off to his mom, then let him be with his mom. I get it when you go through a hard time and you're there to help take care of your loved one. He's running off to his mom, then let him be with his mom. I get it. When you go

in through a hard time and you're there to help take care of your loved one, he's just not upholding. I mean, as the sick person, I get it. He has issues and this prescription pill problem. That's huge. That's a huge problem to overcome. But you're being almost shackled by this relationship. You've We've got all the burden, all the responsibility, and nobody sitting there thanking you and
