That is me. I am Dr. Adam, Professor of Interpersonal and Family Communication, longtime follower of the TLC series, Sister Wives,

and you might be thinking to yourself, this isn't welcome to Plathville. You are so smart.

You are so valuable. And no, no, it's not because I'm doing something different. Was I going to

talk about Welcome to Plathville? Yeah, but i just kind of like to do things and i have the

opportunity an opportunity that many of you actually have been asking me to to pursue for quite

some time and i promised you i would get to it y'all know i'm kind of shy and maybe you don't know

that about me actually i'm shy, particularly with asking for

collaborations. But recently, relatively recently, on Instagram, I was able to connect with the

social media presence of Notes to Sell 444, which many, many of you, especially those of you in the

Facebook group, are devotees of As Am I. and we can talk about this maybe but

Melanie i believe it was you recently over the holidays posted something

Melanie posted something about her father and i think it was the first direct

interaction we had and i it's it's not my story to tell and i want Melanie and I want you both to tell your story but I

want to tell this story too of this is I think such an interesting way if we have this community

of creators where we know each other sometimes or know of each other but we don't interact

and I was so moved by this post that was made about Melanie's father. And I certainly don't want to

compare our experiences, but it resonated with my own experiences around the holidays with my dad.
