Fenny lay on the floor of Otto's bar filthy and afraid. A man in a black suit stood above him and leaned down.

But instead, the almost two perfectly groomed man whispered into Vinny's ear just

Then he woke up in a ball of sweat.

He turned his head to make sure the man in the black suit wasn't there.

The whisper felt so real like it had the night before and

the night before that. He sat up and took a sip of water from the glass he always kept

by the bed. Then he went to his desk and opened his

Macbook air. In the glare of the dark screen he could see his hair so thin nowadays.

His eyes always deep from the morning.

It was Wednesday, April 18th, 2024,

and he had a long day of work ahead of him.
