and Miss Polly also replaced all of her tattered old clothes, much to Pollyanna's delight.

After sneaking out to sleep on the roof, feeling far too hot in her stuffy attic.

Miss Polly once again tried to punish Pollyanna, who saw her punishment as a pleasant and lucky gift,

leaving Miss Polly confused and feeling helpless.

Now that we're caught up with the story so far, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
