And I'm joined in Washington by Slate's chief political correspondent, John Dickerson, fresh from Iowa with corn coming out of his shirt.

Is it obscenely hot in New Haven as it is?

presidential campaign. Topic three will be the amazing story out of California of a couple of

attempts to ban circumcision, which Emily will have passionate feelings about, as do I. And perhaps John does too.
