Good morning. It's Saturday, September the 14th, with 52 days left to go until Election Day and one debate in the books.

Kamala Harris is touting her presidential bid as, quote, a new way forward, while Donald Trump is starting to sound like a broken record.

In the day since Tuesday night's debate, the Democratic nominee has returned to the campaign trail

and shifted her focus back to the swing states that could be key to her victory in November.

Yesterday, Harris returned to the all-important state of Pennsylvania, where she

held rallies in a pair of counties that Donald Trump won in 2016 and in 2020, and she sat down

with a local news station for her first post-debate and first solo interview as the Democratic nominee.

The day before that, she was in North Carolina,

one of the most purple states on the map. The Democrats have only won twice in the past 50 years,

but that often votes Democratic and statewide elections, and it's a state the Democrats believe,

is truly in play this year. Tim Walls has also been out on the road this week, rallying voters in Michigan

and Wisconsin. Other surrogates like the candidate's spouses, Doug Emhoff and Gwen Walls,

have been helping the campaign on the ground in swing states like Arizona and Georgia. And soon,

even bigger names are about to hit the trail in support of Harrison Walls. NBC News has learned that

Barack and Michelle Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton will begin participating in campaign events

beginning this coming week. Now, this is all part of the Harris campaign's aggressive post-debate

strategy to reach and persuade undecided voters, especially those in swing states.

They're seeking to capitalize on Harris's winning debate performance this week, which was seen by more than 67 million people and has given her another boost of momentum in the final weeks

of the race.

Now, during that debate, Harris commanded the stage and successfully baited Trump into going off on long,

irrelevant tangents about crowd size and other petty topics.
