Okay, this is pretty much the only really scary experience I've had.

I had just returned home to the northwest from living in Georgia due to my father's recent diagnosis with LAS.

It was a painful, surreal, traumatic time for the family and for me personally

my world has completely, had completely stopped turning. Growing up a pastor's kid I was always

educated and believed in the supernatural but never really

experienced anything until this. A few months after I moved back I started

having these nightmares about waking up with spiders in my bed. Like hundreds of

them all over my bed, my pillow everywhere. I swear I would

be awake and still see them. But those wore off after a couple of days and that's when it

started to get really scary.

The first night when things got weird,

I woke up to the sound of my bedroom door opening and closing.

Not like opening all the way, but just enough for the latch to open and then close, as if someone was peeking into my room and

then closing the door.

The first couple of days had happened, I thought it was a dream or maybe my mom was coming

in and drop off my laundry or something.

No big deal, but it became more frequent.

One night I was awake and I hurt the latch open so I rolled over in bed and looked just in time to catch my doors closing a few inches.

I hopped out of bed expecting to catch my mom and proceed to scold her for being awake so late,

but when I opened the door, all the lights were off in the whole house.
