I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast.

It looks like Washington DC is slowly getting back up to speed on Wednesday morning Senate

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott unveil a draft police

reform bill that they want to consider as early as next week.

Obviously, this is where the legislative machine will slow things down as negotiations pick

up between Senate Republicans, House Democrats and the White House.

Meanwhile, the primary calendar continues to churn in Virginia, Republican Congress

and Denver Rigelman, lost a primary sort of via convention from a Republican challenger,

despite an endorsement from the president.

We'll get into that a little bit up in up in New York in a story that has the feel of

AOC 2.0, LA Dangle, chairman of the Powerful House Foreign Relations Committee faces a

challenge from political newcomer, Jamal Bowman.
