The summer is coming to an end here in Central Vermont.

I figured it was time for another review of calls to the local police, reported in the Times Argus and the Stowe reporter.

A groundhog was in distress on State Street, a squirrel was stuck in the grass on East State Street, and odor was reported on State Street.

A female in a dark ody with Massachusetts plates kept getting in and out of the vehicle while yelling for over an hour.

At least two people at Abishans on Prospect Street looked like they were trying to steal pellets for a pellet stove.

A woman called because there was a picture of a naked female on her boyfriend's Facebook page. The guy parked every day, all day in his car on the side of the road near Adams Mill, was a private

investigator scoping out something private. A black car described as being similar to a vehicle the FBI might

use, pulled onto Church Street, and a man wearing normal clothing and carrying a

machete got out and switched seats with a passenger. wearing a

That Hartston Road couple was arguing again, and someone called police.

The sergeant's Farm Road resident heard knocking at the door but no one was there. Someone was making a racket at

Emily's Bridge.

On Main Street, a woman complained her takeout food was not cooked to her liking.

A dead body was reported on North Main Street. Police Chief Tim Bombardier said it was nothing suspicious.
